Environmental Policy

CPO accepts responsibility for the harmful effects its operations have on both the local and global environment and is committed to reducing them. CPO will monitor its impact on the environment and set targets for ongoing improvement.

We will comply with all relevant environmental legislation and will encourage the adoption of similar principles by our suppliers, partners, clients and customers.

Our Statement of Intent

CPO is committed to minimising the impact of its activities on the environment.

We intend to do this by:

• Minimising waste by evaluating operations and ensuring they are as efficient as possible.

• Minimise toxic emissions through the cost-effective use of transport in all deliveries and travel to, from and during work.

• Actively promote recycling both internally and amongst our customers and suppliers.

• Promote the use of public transport by staff and volunteers whenever possible.

• Always source sustainable papers to minimise the environmental impact of both production and distribution.

• Listen to suggestions from staff, volunteers and the community as to how we can continue to improve our Environmental Policy and install new procedures to lessen waste and encourage environmentally friendly behaviour.

CPO will encourage the discussion and promotion of environmental issues through all its publications to help spread the word about the importance of individual, community and corporate contribution to reducing emissions and waste, and helping to tackle climate change.
