National Lottery Community Fund (NLCF)

Reaching Communities Partnership Fund: Grimsby Full Families, we have to date, supported 210 families, against a total target of 210. This has ensured that families in North East Lincolnshire have received
community social work support at the earliest possible point, preventing escalation to statutory services.

North East Lincolnshire Council Household Support Grants

Creating Positive Opportunity has successfully supported 84 claims into this fund and has enabled local residents to claim almost £11,000 in grants

 to meet raising household costs and to prevent debt.

 National Lottery Community Fund

Building Better Opportunities is an
employment project for
participants aged 16 plus. With 3 months of delivery remaining, 51 local people have progressed
into positive outcomes including employment, against a target of 27.

Multiply 
Contracted to deliver 310 adult numeracy outcomes in Years 1&2 we have so far delivered Functional Skills maths, Budgeting, and maths for employment to 219 adults in North East Lincolnshire.

HM Courts & Tribunals Service Website Support: The total number of people supported through this process, who would otherwise be prevented from doing so, to date is 121

Young People's Education & Training

Through CRF, a government Traineeship Programme and EHCP we have helped 84 young people to
progress into positive outcomes in the last 3 academic years.

Children in Need

Children in Need set a target to work with 42 young people in  Year 1, of a 3-year project. Creating Positive Opportunity are currently offering after-school clubs and school-holiday activities to 62 young people.

Health Projects – Creating Positive Opportunity are currently running the following community health projects

Sport England, through Active Humber

Health in Mind is a physical activity project aimed at those who cannot afford gym membership or for those whose anxiety prevents it. 50 people so far have received support through our personal trainer who also holds a mental health qualification.
